COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course, English Fundamentals for Filipino Professionals Course 1 shall be a 5-hour recorded video- lecture (3 CPD units, video-on-demand). The speaker has five (5) hours to discuss concepts that are fundamental to the English language.

OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, Filipino Professionals such as nurses and lifelong learners will be able to:
- Understand the importance of learning English
- Recognize the different English proficiency examinations
- Be aware of the importance of grammar
- Apply the basic concepts of English and English grammar to their profession
- Proactively share the lessons from this course to their organizations and communities
REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure 100% “complete” status before end of course availability period
- Successfully pass the evaluation exam by scoring 14 or above, out of 20 multiple- choice questions
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Lady Diana Macalalad
Our Speaker finished her BS in Nursing degree from Central Luzon Doctors’ Hospital- Educational Institution, Tarlac City, and her AB in Political Science degree at Saint Louis University- Baguio. She is a Registered- Licensed Nurse both in the Philippines and in the US. She is an IELTS Instructor and a former ESL Teacher. She was awarded “Most Outstanding ESL Teacher” from 2014-2015.
