COURSE DESCRIPTION
This video-on-demand course allows educators to examine their technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge expertise while also equipping them with multimodal literacy skills that are essential in 21st-century teaching.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the course, attendees will be able to:
- Make an inventory of one’s multimodal literacy skills.
- Elevate teachers’Technology, Pedagogy, and Content skills in multimodal composition.
- Be familiar with TPACK framework and multimodal literacies.
- Improve the assessment of student learning using multimodal literacies.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure 100% “complete” status before end of course availability period
- Successfully pass the evaluation exam by scoring 7 or above, out of 10 multiple- choice questions
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Arra Dianne B. Marcelo, LPT, MAEd
Our Speaker is currently connected with the Department of Education (DepEd)- Tarlac as Teacher II Work Immersion Program Coordinator. Before her job at DepEd, she was an Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs at the Don Bosco Technical Institute (DBTI)- Tarlac.
She finished Master of Arts in Education Major in Educational Management from Tarlac State University in 2020. She graduated Cum Laude with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in English from the College of the Holy Spirit (CHST)- Tarlac in 2017.
